SYNOPSIS
When a balloon gets separated from its bunch, it must go on an adventure to get back to its friends, learning to accept its imperfections along the way.

To celebrate its release a few days after Halloween, I created some alternate posters spoofing iconic horror movie posters (The Exorcist, Rosemary's baby, Alien and The Silence of the lambs)

A whimsical animation that follows a young astronaut in 1969 as he tries to get to the moon by various means before meeting another astronaut with the same goal.

Room Tone
Room Tone
Room Tone is a 1 minute short film that was made as a challenge to make a film in one day, from concept to final edit. It follows an actor who struggles to stay quiet when the sound recordist asks for 30 seconds of silence for room tone.
ABOUT EDGE OF THE ROAD
Edge of The Road is a production company that I started in order to create a variety of different film projects under one name.

The name 'Edge of the Road' comes from my love of hitchhiking, as well as the core philosophy of EOTR: never staying in the same place for too long i.e. exploring different film genres, mediums and tones.

My name is Jacob, I am an animator, VFX artist and filmmaker from Leeds. I studied film production at Arts University Bournemouth and now live in Brighton.
